From Analysis to Action: Maximizing Growth with SWOT

Most organizations have run a SWOT analysis. Far fewer can point to a decision that came out of one. Learn to appraise a real organization on its own evidence, pair what it has against what its market is about to ask of it, and leave with a targeted action plan you can defend.

Course overview
From Analysis to Action is a one-week applied micro-course on SWOT analysis. It teaches a single practical skill — appraising a real organization on evidence and converting the appraisal into a targeted strategic action plan, rather than filling four boxes on a flipchart and filing them. You choose one real organization in the opening section and carry it through all six, learning to sort entries onto the right axis, ground every one of them in the organization's own data and in deliberate external scanning, test each candidate strength and weakness against rivals and against what buyers value, screen each candidate opportunity and threat for likelihood, materiality and timing, and pair the tested lists into strategic options through the TOWS matrix. By the end of the week you hold an action plan with owners, measures and review dates in which every line traces back to evidence — together with an honest account of what the method cannot do.
